Light Up Wyoming

Light Up Wyoming will be held on Saturday, December 9th, 2023, from 6-8 pm in conjunction with the Wyoming Holiday Celebration.

Light Up Wyoming is a longstanding tradition in the community with the goal of creating an “unbroken circle of light” of luminaries throughout the City of Wyoming to show holiday spirit. Light Up Wyoming is one of the primary fundraisers for the JWC of Wyoming. Every year, the club supports a variety of organizations and causes by dispensing funds from the JWC of Wyoming Foundation. In 2022, ‘Light Up Wyoming’ raised over $12,000! With the community’s generous support, JWC was able to fully fund the resources needed for the Wyoming Middle School’s Math department to create “Building Thinking Classrooms”, support Wyoming Before & After School Care with food and paper products, provide inflatables at Wyoming’s 4th of July Celebration, and send 5 underserved children to summer camp at Camp Joy.

ORDER YOUR KIT TODAY. All standard kits orders will be $30.  Seniors can take advantage of our special senior pricing of $20.  Consider purchasing a gift/donation kit for to brighten a neighbor’s day or enhance our public spaces. Each kit comes with 20 votive candles, 20 bags, sand, and a step-by-step guide. Ensure you have enough to space bags 3-4 feet apart.

Free home delivery when you order kits by November 22nd. After this date, kits MUST be picked up at the in-person events listed below

In-Person Kit Sales will be held at the following locations:

  • December 2nd: 9:00am – 4:00pm – High School Tennis Court Lot
  • December 3rd: 12:00pm – 4:00pm – High School Tennis Court Lot
  • December 9th: 10:00am – 5:00pm – Wyoming Civic Center

For in-person sales, you can pay with cash, check, credit card, or online. If you pay online, please bring your receipt.

Not going to be around for Light Up Wyoming? Don’t have the space to display luminaries? Consider purchasing kits to donate for use in public spaces within the community. JWC can also assist senior citizens with setup and cleanup of kits during the event – just let us know when you order.
