Wow! What a week it has been. We hope you are all well and hanging in while we work together to #levelthecurve. We are so proud that during the uncertainty and rapid changes of the COVID-19 Pandemic, JWC continues to be a light for our community and beyond. Special thanks to Erin Daugherty, Raquel Bevington, Helen McCormick, and the entire Shamrocks Committee for pulling off another record-breaking year for Shamrocks! We are so grateful for the cheer you brought to our community!
COVID-19, How You Can Help:
Several local initiatives have popped up over the last week to help during this time. If you hear of other opportunities, please don’t hesitate to post new opportunities on the JWC Members Facebook Page. Here are some ways you can help out right now:
- Wyoming Carry-Out Connection is the City of Wyoming’s initiative to provide meals from our local businesses to those who need them. Please visit this link to learn more and participate.
- Operation Medical Supplies is a local initiative to sew masks for healthcare providers and other workers who are coming in close contact with others. Our Kudos Kids team has already jumped into action to sew masks. Find out more here. A big thank you to Ashley Tubb for leading this up!
- Heartfelt Tidbits is working with refugee families to ensure that they have everything they need to be healthy and safe during this time. For more information on helping please contact April Robles at roblesad@gmail.com. Thank you, April, for your hard work on this initiative!
JWC Club Calendar:
Please be patient with us as we reevaluate future club activities through the remainder of the club year. We are waiting to hear the announcements from our state and local government before we determine how we will approach May Activities.

2020 Disbursements Proposal:
Denise will be reviewed our 2020 Disbursements Proposal during the Virtual General Meeting. She also emailed the proposal draft prior to the meeting. Please keep this document confidential as it is not finalized until we have voted to approve the funding. Any questions about the proposal can be directed to deniselitter@jwc-wyoming.org.
